Dance Is The Hidden Language Of The Soul

A life motto Rachel Harrison has lived by all of her life.

WomanRachel first danced tap & jazz in Port Moody, BC at the age of 4. Later she moved to Bright’s Grove & started studying with Gloria Bondy School of Dance.At age 19 Rachel successfully auditioned for Ryerson University & was enrolled in a 4 yr. intensive program for Theatre Performing Arts, majoring in Dance. Post graduation, Rachel auditioned & was hired for 2 seasons of the popular kid’s TV series “4 Square” on Treehouse as Caption Hupette. On her return to Sarnia in June of 2007, Rachel made the leap into opening her own dance studio. Steppin’ Up Dance Co. is located at 102 Christina Street, Downtown Sarnia.   Steppin' Up Dance Company features recreational & competitive classes in tap, ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop & Mixed Acro for ages 3 - adult. After 4 yrs of being in business Rachel enjoys dancing & developing her own choreography even more. She finds pleasure in her student’s energy & enthusiasm & appreciates the diversity her classes offer her as an instructor.
